Why miss your favorite TV show when you can watch your home TV when you’re away from home

By admin, 10 November, 2009, No Comment

You no longer have to be stuck to the sofa to watch TV. That’s because the Slingbox allows you to watch live television via the Internet on your computer or mobile phone. I’ve personally used the Slingbox. It comes in handy when you don’t want to miss something special, whether it’s the Tour de France, your favorite TV show, or the latest breaking news. Click Here to buy one today, or for more information. A Slingbox makes a GREAT holiday gift.

I followed these instructions to upgrade Leopard to Snow Leopard on my Mac. The installation went smoothly. As always, however, always backup your data before doing any software installation.

Internet Explorer 8, to install or not install… that is the question

By admin, 9 November, 2009, No Comment

The general consensus (as of today), is to hold out on installing Internet Explorer 8. I still see compatibility problems with some websites. If you’re a savvy computer user, you may be able to work around the issues (like using compatibility mode). If you’re not, and you just want it to work, then hold off on installing IE8. If it’s already installed, then you can uninstall it from the Control Panel. If Windows updates keeps trying to install it, you can go into the Custom option in Windows Updates and hide it for now. Good luck! If you’re still having trouble, anyone at ByteMarks can help you remotely. Call us at 970-927-2333. Find us at bytemarks.biz.
